Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 22, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how AccoTiva (“AccoTiva”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses and protects personal information when you visit accotiva.com or contact us. We provide bookkeeping and accounting support services to businesses in the United States and Canada.

Information we collect

  • Information you send us. When you use our consultation form or email us, we collect your name, business email address, business name, country, the service you are interested in and the contents of your message.
  • Technical information. Our hosting provider automatically records standard server log data such as IP address, browser type, pages requested and the date and time of the request, for security and to keep the website running.
  • Cookies. The website uses only cookies needed for it to function (for example, WordPress cookies for logged-in administrators). We do not currently use advertising cookies.

Free financial tools

Our calculators, including the 13-week cash flow forecast, run entirely in your web browser. The figures you enter are not sent to AccoTiva or stored by us.

How we use your information

  • To respond to your inquiry and schedule a consultation.
  • To prepare a proposal and, if you become a client, to provide our services.
  • To operate, secure and improve our website.
  • To meet legal, accounting and record-keeping obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

Service providers

We use trusted providers to run our business — for example, website hosting, email delivery and font delivery (Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when fonts load). These providers process information on our behalf and only as needed to provide their services.

How long we keep information

We keep inquiry information only as long as needed to respond and follow up, and client records for as long as required by our engagement terms and applicable law.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live — including under applicable US state privacy laws and Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) — you may have the right to request access to, correction of or deletion of your personal information, and to withdraw consent to further communications. To make a request, email us at info@accotiva.com. We will respond within the time required by applicable law.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections, to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Children

Our website and services are intended for businesses and are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above shows when it was last changed.
