Problems we solve
- Materials and subcontractor costs are recorded without a job, so job profitability is a guess.
- Progress billings, deposits and retainage are hard to track across overlapping projects.
- Equipment, vehicle and fuel costs are mixed with overhead.
- Subcontractor details needed at year end are incomplete.
- Cash is tight even when the profit and loss looks healthy.

Frequently asked questions
Can you do job costing in QuickBooks Online?
Yes. QuickBooks Online supports projects and, on some plans, classes. We will recommend a structure that fits your plan and the level of detail you need.
Do you prepare WIP schedules?
We maintain the underlying records and can prepare supporting schedules comparing costs and billings. Final revenue recognition and financial statement adjustments are agreed with your CPA.
Do you run payroll for construction crews?
No. AccoTiva does not process payroll. We record payroll from your payroll provider’s reports and allocate labor costs to jobs.
Can you help with retainage?
Yes. We track retainage receivable on customer invoices and retainage payable on subcontractor bills so balances are visible on the balance sheet.
